Current Roster

As of June, 2007, the roster is as follows:

1 Aristo U25B in blue and yellow-dummy, battery carrier
1 Aristo U25B, red and silver warbonnet, also dummy and battery car.
1 USA GP7, Santa Fe blue and yellow pinstripe, 1 onboard battery set
1 USA GP9, Santa Fe blue and yellow pinstripe, 1 onboard battery set
1 USA GP7, black and white stripes ATSF, 1 onboard battery set.
2 USA GP38, ATSF blue and yellow bonnet, each has two battery sets.
1 USA GP30, ATSF blue and yellow bonnet, two battery sets
1 USA NW2 switcher, ATSF blue and yellow, one onboard battery set.
1 USA F3 ATSF A & B, red and silver, both units have two onboard battery sets, the B unit does not contain a receiver, but cables to the A unit. Takes awhile to charge, but runs forever.
1 USA F3 A unit, ATSF blue and yellow bonnet, 2 onboard battery packs.
1 USA ALCO PA, ATSF red and silver, 2 onboard battery packs.

Smoke units have been removed from all diesels that have them, as they draw current from the packs, and to me, are a throwback to Lionel tin-plate days.

Other than the ALCO PA, everything is 4 axle, even with the wide curves and switches I use, six axles can present problems with derailments in this scale.

Aristo does have a GP40 coming which I will look at, but I can only have one as that is all Santa Fe had, and it was inherited in a merger.

I also have one passenger car, and 3 freight cars rigged with battery packs so they can provide power to engines while running if needed. Needless to say, I have to plan charging times, but I have six chargers so time is reduced.

All diesels have Kadee G gauge couplers body mounted, not always an easy task.
